Yamaha clp-950 features: 88-key gh (graded hammer effect) keyboard; 4-position touch sensitivity; new dynamic stereo sampling awm (advanced wave memory) tone generation with stereo sustain samples, key-off samples and soundboard reverb; twelve voices; 64-note polyphony (maximum); pc interface; split voice; dual voice; digital reverb; digital effects; brilliance; performance memory; seven temperaments; 60w x 2 amplifier; metronome; three foot pedals; midi; sliding key cover; dual headphone jacks; 50 built-in demonstration songs with sheet music.
The instrument is first hand, was bought in 2001 and used extensively, usually at home and only a few times on stage. It is fully functional and in good shape, although the outside shows some minor signs of aging (see pictures). The entire manual was replaced once by the yamaha customer service (around 2009) as part of an extended warranty, since it turned out that the oil used by yamaha for the keyboard in that series was problematic for the keys and made them age quickly and crack. I did not had any problems since then with the new keyboard. As the only downside, one of the 5-cm tweeters is broken (this happened prior to 2009 while replacing some broken keys in the old keyboard). This is however hardly noticeable, since the other 5-cm tweeter and the two 14-cm woofers work still perfectly, which is why i never bothered to actually replace the tweeter in the last ten years (should be around 30 Euro). The users manual is included. Since we have by now several pianos in the household, I have to give up this one unfortunately. I hope the new owner will enjoy it as much as i did over the last 15 years. This is a private offer. No warranty or return. The instrument can be checked out and picked up in Amsterdam (Oostlijk Havengebied).
